10 Useful, little-known facts about the iPhone
Sure, every iPhone user learns the basics of using the device sooner or later. I've yet to meet an iPhone owner who does not know how to place a call, take a picture, or visit the App Store from the phone. However, there are many hidden tips and tricks that can significantly enhance your user experience and help you get the best bang for your buck. It's no secret that you paid a lot of hard-earned money to have an iPhone of your own; you might as well get the most out of the gadget. Read on to learn about iPhone tips, tricks, and shortcuts that you never knew existed.

Fact 1. There is a shortcut for typing punctuation marks on iPhone.
To type punctuation marks on the iPhone, most people tap the 123 button, select the punctuation mark they need, and then tap the ABC button to return to the main keyboard. There's nothing inherently wrong with this method, per say, but it can become extremely inconvenient and interrupt your typing flow. It is especially annoying when you need to use numerous punctuation marks in a message. Luckily, there is a much more fluid shortcut that you can employ. Instead of tapping 123, tapping the punctuation mark, and tapping ABC, simply tap 123 and slide your finger to the punctuation mark you need. The punctuation mark will insert into your message, and the keyboard will automatically revert back to the ABC screen. Instead of tapping three times to insert a period or question mark into a text, you can now do it with a single tap.
