Step 1. Open iTunes and Highlight the Song(s)

It is excellent when all songs you have downloaded on your iPod or iPhone are copied with the complete information like the artist title, album, genre and year – all these song’s metadata known as ID3 tags. However, in some cases you need to edit the song information or replace it because it is wrong or absent. The following guide will show you how.

The first step to do is to launch iTunes and then highlight a song you wish to edit by clicking on it one time. To edit few songs at the same time – click the song that is at the top of your list of songs for editing, then while holding Shift key choose the last song in your list. In such way you will highlight all songs located between them.
