Many iPhone users confuse the terms” the battery life” and “the battery lifespan”. The battery life denotes the time required before a phone has to be recharged while the battery lifespan referrers to the total time of the battery activity until it has to be replaced with a new one. You can check the statistics of the iPhone’s battery use by clicking on Settings, then General Tab and the option Usage. Also check the option “Time since the last full charge”.

Different models of an iPhone have different battery lifespan rates. For instance, iPhone 4S’ battery can work without replacement up to 4 hundred full charge cycles (1 cycle counts from 0 % to 100%).
