2. Screen condition

Buying used iPhone 2

Because iPhones are touchscreen phones, it is imperative that the screen be in good condition for the phone to function properly. If the phone was not kept in a protective case by its previous owner, there’s a chance that there may be damage to the screen. While some wear and tear should be expected, scratches on the screen would most likely cause at least some of the features of the phone to not work properly. If purchasing a used iPhone, be sure to check it thoroughly, prior to purchasing it, or you risk finding the phone has significant screen damage. If the purchase is being made over the internet, inspect photographs thoroughly for scratches on the screen. Purchasing the iPhone from a reliable source will provide better assurance of the condition of the phone.
