How to free Your iPhone from a never-ending reboot cycle

What to do if your iPhone is stuck on the Apple logo when rebooting or just keeps on rebooting

If you are one of the users who experience the problem whereby the iPhone sticks on the Apple logo while rebooting, we are here to help. Here is how you can solve the problem using the recovery procedure available on your iTunes and DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode of your iPhone.

To get your iPhone up and running again, follow these simple steps:

1. Lanuch iTunes on your computer

2. Connect your iPhone to the computer

3. Press the "Home" and "Power" button simultaneously, and continue to press them together for 10 seconds (yeah, take a clock that can count seconds; it will be a great help)

4. When 10 seconds is over, release the "Power" button while still holding the "Home" button for another 10 seconds

5. A message will appear in iTunes saying that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. Click "OK" in message window

6. In iTunes, click on the "Restore" button

DFU mode is not intended for widespread usage, so it may (and probably) will take you several attempts to get your iPhone into DFU mode. Of course, that is if you are not an Apple engineer.

In some cases, it is actually the DFU mode that can be responsible for the never-ending reboots. In other words, the iPhone may be getting stuck in this mode and thus is permanently rebooting. In this case, you will need the iRecovery utility.
